This blog multiple New York sports teams, primarily the Mets, Jets, and Islanders.  The articles that will be published will include game summaries, offseason rumors, and my opinions on trades and signings as well as what each team should do regarding trades and signings.  As a warning to potential readers, this blog may contain very opinionated articles, but I welcome feedback and criticism as well as the opinions of others.  I will try to respond to emails sent to me regarding questions or ideas.

  1. When is this ” major league” team going to play in a facility that reflects it’s so-called position?
As a disappointed season ticket holder, the Brooklyn venue discourages a supportive and vocal fanbase from showing up, due to it’s relocation. They might as well be in Kansas City.
Additionally, the venue, built for basketball, with a myopic view towards hockey creates an attendance deficiency that will translate to less monies to retain quality players ( Neilson, Okposo just to name two ), rendering a second rate team for ad-infinitem. When we lose Tavares as a result of a second division mindset, maybe then the fans will rebel and force management to take a hard look in the mirror.
